There is a single-storey, slanted rectangular-plan rubble built former smiddy to the rear garden of No.10 which has irregular openings to its east elevation including two doors, one with a window over. It has a mono pitch roof covered in corrugated sheet material.
The buildings are a good example of traditional terraced housing, which survive largely in their original form to the exterior. The cart arch to the front elevation is a characterful addition and contributes to the wider group interest with the surviving blacksmith building to the rear.
They are prominent historic buildings in the Auchtermuchty streetscape. They form part of an architecturally and historically significant group of other historic buildings of similar date and type at the end of a narrow roadway (Kilnheugh).
Statutory address and listed building record revised in 2025. Previously listed as 'Houses and Shop (Miller and Harrower) Kilnheugh'.
