Road bridge over the river Alyn, late C18 or early C19.
Road bridge, of roughly squared grey limestone. Slightly humped with parapets coped in flat sandstone slabs. Single broad segmental arch with squared stone voussoirs and flat stones to arch ring. Slightly projecting vertical break each side of arch, then abutments curve outward to outer square piers.
Included as a good example of a single-arched road bridge, prominently set by the Tomen y Faerdre castle site.
