History

Early C19 and externally little altered, but the uneven window arrangement may suggest an earlier origin.

Exterior

Rendered and painted with natural slate roof and brick stacks. Double depth central entry plan, but off-centre. A low two storeys, two windows. C20 pediment/hood to doorway, 6-panel door. All windows are 8 over 8 pane sashes. Moderately pitched roof with single tall stack to right gable. Retains the probably original gate and spiked wrought iron railing with dog-bars.

Included for its special architectural interest as a well preserved early C19 house retaining its character.
