Conwy Castle Inner Bailey. This would have been almost filled up with auxiliary buildings, wooden lean-to's etc., leaving a cobbled way through the centre, probably narrower than the path seen today. The town wall is seen beyond, continuing the fortifications. (TPJ slide collection 1975).
