History

A C20 doorway, inserted when the Hermitage was sub-divided into 3 properties.

Exterior

The doorway is in a freestone surround with lintel. The half-lit door has panels at the base. Above are mullions with triangular-shaped heads, and subsidiary iron mullions in similar style.

Listed for its special interest as a well-detailed doorway of definite character that contributes to the setting of the house and to the historical integrity of Rosemary Lane.
