History

Two parallel ranges of different dates partly shown on Tithe Map for Chapelry of St Mary of 1839. Front range of mid C19 date.

Exterior

House; stone rubble and slate roof; paired rendered chimney to S end. Two storeys, three windows. First floor window openings with cambered heads and with sash windows three panes wide. On ground floor, two wide canted bay windows, one each side of centre doorway with slightly cambered head. South gable end of front wing has cusped bargeboard; two windows at attic level, and 4-pane sash to ground floor. Rear range has stuccoed S elevation of two storeys with parapet; two windows which are 4-pane sashes apart from splayed bay in ground floor to L.

Reasons for Listing

Early-to-mid C19 house retaining its character with Group Value with adjacent listed barn, and with Camden Court to W.
