Exterior

Late C17/early C18 town-house with late Georgian alterations. 3-storey, 3-window coursed rubble front. Tall hipped slate roof with swept and boxed moulded eaves as on No 17, brick chimney stack to right end and 2 hipped dormers with casement windows. 12-pane sash windows to upper floors, except to 1st floor right; voussoir lintels. Eroded stone tablet to 1st floor left. Timber band continues from No 17 over ground floor with 16-pane sash window beside plain shop front with 2-light windows flanking double doors.

Right end has sash windows mostly without glazing bars; central 4-panelled door flanked by splayed bay and 2-light shop window with end pilasters and cornice.
