Telephone kiosk of K6 type, designed by Giles Gilbert Scott, architect, the design introduced by GPO in 1936. This example dates from the reign of King George VI and was manufactured by Carron Company, Stirlingshire.
Telephone-kiosk, red-painted cast-iron with wooden door. Domed roof with 4 lunettes containing embossed crowns over red lettered opals and ventilation slits. Raised surrounds to sides and door with marginal bars to horizontal glazing. Blank rear and moulded plinth.
Included for group value with Capel Trisant and for its contribution to this upland rural setting.
