1834 rebuilding of an earlier bridge erected 1804-5 by the Tappendens. Carried the tramroad from Abernant via Llwydcoed towards the Neath canal.
Single arch rubble bridge with broad semi-circular arch with voussoirs; pilasters to either end. High revetment walls curving back at ends. Some stone blocks remain to the tramroad. The eastern side has keystone dated 1834.
