Erected 1864, enlarged 1914.
Symmetrical painted classical front with open pediment (in style of John Humphreys), rusticated quoins and voussoirs to giant arch containing inscribed tablet. Depressed rusticated arch with imposts to traceried window behind porch, full-height side windows with detail as before.
Fine Portland (?) stone Doric porch (added 1914) with balustraded parapet, triglyph frieze, advanced ends with coupled columns (1/3 fluted) and plain pilasters. Arched openings with key and impost blocks, original rusticated doorway under porch.
Single-storey ashlar screen walls (in similar style to porch) set back slightly to left and right. Rubble N elevation with plain arched windows, rubble S elevation with recessed arch rings to windows. Gabled church hall at right-angles to rear.
Imperial staircase to forecourt with terracotta balustrading, modern railings to road.
