History

Terraced house part of an early to mid C19 row Nos 1-4 Spring Gardens, but wholly altered in mid to later C20 and included because it forms part of the original terrace. It should be a mirrored pair to No 4 but no external original detail remains. Restoration in 2005 exposed cement blocks between lower and upper openings, but original detail was not restored. A much altered former lofted coach-house is attached to front left corner, formerly listed with No 1.

Exterior

Roughcast terraced house of two storeys and two bays with C20 plate glass sashes, a single one to left over recessed C20 door, and a pair each floor to right. red brick end stack.
