History

Early to mid C19 terraced house, paired with No 19 and part of a continuous row including Nos 1-5 Hottipass Street. Building shown on this site on 1844 tithe map.

Exterior

Terraced house, colourwashed roughcast cladding, with imitation slate roof continuous with No 19, and brick end stacks. Small 2-storey 2-window front with 12-pane sash windows, 2 above and one slightly longer to ground floor left of centre. First floor right sash replaced by C20 12-pane top-hinged window. Doorway to extreme right with C20 6-panelled door and plain overlight. All openings with slightly cambered brick heads.
Grouted cement roof of previous listing no longer extant.
