Church of St Hywel

A Grade II* Listed Building in Llanrhian, Pembrokeshire

View of St. Hywel's Church

This lovely old church is on a recommended and signposted tour of churches in Pembrokeshire. It is in an isolated location with just one house opposite, this is the former vicarage. There are monthly services and the church is kept open during the day. It is very well looked after. I particularly liked the external bell rope. St Hywel was a mythical knight of King Arthur's, or a prince from Brittany.
