Probably c1860, contemporary with the main school buildings, and designed by Herbert Williams.

To north and south of the piers, low walls of stone forming curved wings; ashlar coping with small gablets inserted in it. Gothic style piers at ends of wings similar to those flanking the entrance to school grounds. The wall then continues north for c100m in uncoursed rock faced blue lias with stepped Forest of Dean coping.
