Later C18 to early to mid C19 front of 3 storeys, 4 bays. Stuccoed. Slate gabled roof. Sash windows with glazing bars on both upper floors. On ground floor, 5 windows with pointed heads and small panes flanked by a doorway to either side; at North-west end, round-headed arch to passage. Graded II on account of elevation to Trinity Street; interior has been modernised.
Well-preserved mid C19 public house with group value with adjacent market.
