Description: Small late C19 or early C20 rectangular booth constructed of slate throughout; formerly a weighbridge hut. Entrance to L with counter window immediately adjoining to R; door and glazing missing. Plain small chimney to R gable end; plain interior now lacking weighing apparatus.
Included for group value with the nearby incline drumhouse and chimney at Maenofferen, an exceptionally complete example of a slate quarry level.
