A Grade II Listed Building in Pontypool, Torfaen

Pontypool Tramroad Tunnel

Uploader's Comments

This is a separate structure 1km NW of the canal tunnels on the route of the same tramroad. The SE end can be seen in Pontypool Park but the NW end has been buried. Cadw, in its wisdom, has not seen fit the list this tunnel as either an ancient monument or a listed building even though it dates from 1825.
