Mid to later C19 terraced house, a pair with No 1, with original horizontal-bar front rails and iron gates. No 3 was added to match and finally Tyrrel House added at N end, slighty different. Typical of the terraces built as the village expanded with woollen mills and lead-mining.
No 2 has 4-panel door, N end stack rebuilt.
The best surviving terraced group in Talybont, still with the small-paned sashes of the late Georgian tradition.
