Exterior

Late-Regency house of 3 bays and 2-stories with storied service wing to rear forming an L plan. Of rubble construction with rendered front and shallow-pitched slate roof, with deep verges and oversailing eaves; plain end chimneys with weathercoursing and cornice bands. Symmetrical front with central entrance to stepped-up ground floor; 4-panel door (upper 2 glazed) with plain rectangular overlight. In front, a modern open porch with iron-work supports and glazed roof. 16-pane slightly-recessed, unhorned sash windows to ground and first floors, with projecting slate cills. To the rear, a lower storeyed service wing advances to the L, partly enclosing a service court; later C19 and modern windows, together with a part-glazed rear door.

Listed for its special interest as a late Georgian house retaining good external character.
