History

Early C19 terraced house.

Exterior

Mid terraced house built of random rubble masonry with larger blocks, laid to courses at far right (W) end where it abuts the adjacent cottage 'Crown House'. Two window range with doorway offset to right (W) end, below first floor window. Windows are 12-pane horizontally sliding sashes, first floor windows directly under the eaves.

Reasons for Listing

Included as part of a particularly well preserved terrace of late C18 or early C19 village houses. The terrace retains much of its character particularly in the retention of so much of its original fenestration.
