Probably built in the C18.
A small brick-built barn with a blue slate roof. The brickwork is of similar warm red hue as the front of the gatehouse, and is likewise laid in Flemish bond. Rectangular plan, parallel to the road, probably of 4 structural bays. There is a full-height wagon doorway offset right of centre, now furnished with a modern sliding door. To the left is a large triangular buttress of later red brick; to the right, a small blocked doorway. Attached to the E end is a rubble-built and slate-roofed single-cell milkhouse (linking it to the gatehouse, q.v.). Its front wall is now furnished with a large sliding door above a 3-step milk churn platform; the rear wall is covered by a wooden shed. Rear not inspected

Included as an interesting functional and architectural element of a fine group of buildings at Ty Mawr.
