History

A probably late C18 barn or cowhouse.

Exterior

Rectangular barn of local rubble construction with C20 corrugated iron roof. Two entrances, R and L of a central C20 projecting lean-to of whitened breeze block. The L entrance has a 6-pane glazed upper section and an exposed timber lintel; that to the R has a boarded door. Openings to far L and R, beyond the entrances, that to the L a 6-pane C20 iron-framed window, that to the R a larger loading bay under the eaves, with corrugated plastic.

Interior

Four-bay interior retaining original pegged tie-beam trusses with raking struts.
