History

C18 or early C19 privy, probably contemporary with the farmhouse.

Exterior

Gable entry privy. Built of rubble masonry with roof of large slates and tiled ridge. The doorway is offset to the L of the NW gable, a rectangular doorway with timber lintel.

Interior

Interior not inspected at the time of the survey.

Reasons for Listing

Included as a privy building which retains a strong vernacular character and which forms a coherent and visual group with the adjacent farmhouse at Rhos y Gad.
