History

Probably contemporary with the adjacent agricultural range and cartshed built in late C18 or early C19.

Exterior

Pigsty range of several units, yard walls removed, feed room at L (N) end has a single doorway offset to W end of the N lateral wall. The range is built of rubble masonry; modern slate roof with tiled ridge.

Reasons for Listing

Included, notwithstanding condition, as a pigsty range which has a strong vernacular character and forms a group with the farmhouse and other buildings at the upland farmstead at Llwyn Hwlcyn.
