History

Possibly related to the C17 improvement of Tyddyn Cynar; the bread oven is perhaps an C18 adaptation.

Exterior

A small detached building in similar masonry to the house, with a span roof in slate. Like the house, it is planned downslope with a gable to the south-west. Altered fenestration. Doors to north-west and south-west.

Interior

Large fireplace against the north-east wall with a bread oven.

Reasons for Listing

Listed as a rare example of an exterior hearth building, and for group value with Tyddyn Cynar.
