History

Small mid C19 brick fronted lofted cottage.

Exterior

Cottage, colourwashed red brick with close-eaved slate roof and brick end chimneys. Single-storey and loft, double-fronted with 4-pane horned sash each side of centre boarded door. Loft window in rendered end walls. Lean-to rubble stone cart shed on left end, with timber lintel over entry with double doors.

Not inspected.

Reasons for Listing

Included as a small Victorian lofted cottage of traditional type, but fronted here in brick. A rare survival of this building type to retain historic character.
