History

Early C20 estate cottages with Arts & Crafts detail. The Garthgwynion estate was established c1911 by the founder of the Owen-Owen department stores. The Owen family built new properties, such as these semi-detached workers' cottages, whilst other farms and cottages were acquired and remodelled.

Exterior

No. 1 has entrance into side of porch wing with half-glazed door to R; a boarded door to L leads into an outbuilding.
