History

Early C20 estate cottages with Arts & Crafts detail. The Garthgwynion estate was established c1911 by the founder of the Owen-Owen department stores. The Owen family built new properties, such as these semi-detached workers' cottages, whilst other farms and cottages were acquired and remodelled.

Exterior

No. 2 has entrance into side of porch wing; an opening to L leads into a small lobby, with boarded door at right angles leading into house; metal window to R of opening. Outbuilding to R end with narrow boarded door and a small window.
