History

Small houses with early to mid C19 facades with some modern alterations; probably late C17 to early C18 basic structure. Nos.45 and 46: formerly two cottages converted in 1960s into one dwelling.

Exterior

Slate roof with higher ridge than in No.44; stone stack to R (raised in brick). Two small modern windows on first floor; on ground floor, a modern casement window to L, then modern door, then two square modern windows.

Reasons for Listing

Included despite alterations as buildings representing the scale of the pre-Georgian structures of the Watton, and for Group Value with other listed buildings on The Watton.
