Headstone. William Cooper, died 1803. Large rectangular sandstone slab
with moulded edge and double inscription panel below a shaped band
inscribed "The trumpet shall sound and the Dead shall be raised". In
the spandrels and at the top are carved in fairly high relief, trumping
angels and a head. Included on account of carvings which, though
somewhat archaic in style, are representative of the local folk-art of.
the period.
