7m south of south-west
corner of tower of
Church of St John the
Baptist

Chest tomb. C.1819. Sandstone ashlar. Rectangular plan. Moulded plinth
and capping, corners have a triplet of rolls forming course reeding.
Inscription panels have fluted fans to the corners. Elizabeth Dean,
died 1819; various members of the family also commemorated. A good
example of the type.
