Late C19. Wharfe Lane elevation painted roughcast, tiled roof. 2 storeys,
3 assorted windows. Ground floor has garage door and gabled porch.
River elevation of red brick. 2 storeys and weather boarded attic which
has been built on in the form of long dormers, with railed, flat roof
above. Gable end with fretted bargeboard, 1st floor balcony common with
that of No 1 (q.v.) amd and approached by stair from landing stage. 3
bay facade, windows, 2 light with segmental arches.
No 1 forms part of a group with Nos 25 to 29 (odd) Thameside and No 88
New Street and the surface of the courtyard behind No 88. It also forms
part of a second group with all the listed buildings on Wharfe Lane.
