Late C19. Wharfe Lane elevation of painted brick with parapet. 2 storeys,
2 windows;- 1 bay advanced. Ground floor has 2 small windows flanking
entrance and additional garage entrance. River elevation of red brick
with plastered, 1st floor, facade. Slate roof with bargeboards to gable
end. Balcony at 1st floor continous with that of No 6. lst floor has
2 sashes with segmental arches at either side of central door. Ground
floor has 2 boathouses.
No 1 forms part of a group with Nos 25 to 29 (odd) Thameside and No 88
New Street and the surface of the courtyard behind No 88. It also forms
part of a second group with all the listed buildings on Wharfe Lane.
