Late C19. Wharfe Lane elevation of painted brick with plastered gable
end. 2 1/2 storeys, 3 windows. 2 doors, 1 with flat hood on iron brackets.
River elevation plastered with tiled roof. Gabled end has fretted bargeboard.
2 storeys, 1st floor has spiral staircase from landing stage to 1st floor
balcony. Continuous strip of modern windows. Ground floor also has modern
windows.

No 1 forms part of a group with Nos 25 to 29 (odd) Thameside and No 88
New Street and the surface of the courtyard behind No 88. It also forms
part of a second group with all the listed buildings on Wharfe Lane.
