Early C20 pair of boathouses. Wharfe Lane elevation of roughcast, some
timbering added. 2 gables. Southern part of 2 1/2 storeys, 2 bays on brackets,
1st floor. Northern part, 2 storeys. River elevation, rendered facade
with, white painted, timberwork and red tiled gabled roofs. 2 storeys
and attic, 1st floor, central door with flanking windows, south side
casements, north side sashes. At north side is a small, pyramidal roofed
extension, supported on arched wooden pillars to ground. Balcony along
facade approached by staircase from landing stage. 2 boathouses each
ground floor.

No 1 forms part of a group with Nos 25 to 29 (odd) Thameside and No 88
New Street and the surface of the courtyard behind No 88. It also forms
part of a second group with all the listed buildings on Wharfe Lane.
