Farmhouse, early C18, with C17 core and C19 refacing and additions. Built of
colourwashed brick with slate roof. 'L'-shaped plan of two storeys, the C19
north west extension slightly lower. Entrance facade 3 windows. C19 part glazed
6 panel entrance door, and timber doorcase with panelled reveals, roll moulded
pilasters, patera stops and cornice. Lattice pattern glazing bars in fanlight.
Blank window at first floor level to north west. Sash windows with timber archi-
traves, glazing bars and flat gauged brick arches. North west corner has
rusticated quoins. South eastern wing contains C17 fabric. Scattered
fenestration, mainly C20, but with c.1700 cross window at first floor level.
Gable and south western wall contains flint with brick quoins. C19 north western
extension of 3 windows. Sashes to first floor, casements to ground floor.
Parapet gables with brick kneelers.
