(North Side) (Enlargement) House adjacent and to East of No 31 High Street (The Burford Woodroom) (Previously listed as cottage 35 yds west of Grammar School)

House.Probably early C18 with C19 remodelling.Coursed squared and dressed rubble on plinth,Cotswold stone roof.End stack (truncated) on ridge to left and a further ashlar chimney (capped in brick,perhaps to adjoining property) on left.Two storeys.Three bays, outer first floor windows are sixteen-pane sashes, the centre a transomed and moulded window,liner part blocked,the mouldings of the top and liner part are different;on ground floor the outer windows are casements,to right set in the moulded surround of a C17 mullioned window.The left hand on let floor has a C17 looking cill and lintel.Central doorway with C19-looking relieving arch, beaded surround and half-glazed door. Rendered return with projecting gabled break of different pitch.
