Farmhouse. Mid-to late C18 possibly incorporating parts of an earlier
building, extended mid-C19 with later additions and alterations. Red
brick; graded slate roof. 2 storeys and gable-lit attic with floor
band and toothed eaves cornice. 3 widely spaced windows; 16-paned
glazing bar sashes to first floor and 20-paned sashes to ground floor,
all with slightly cambered gauged heads. Entrance between second
and third windows from left; flush 6-panel door in plain pilastered
doorcase. Red brick ridge stack between first and second windows from
left and external end stack to right. Contemporary lower kitchen range
at right-angles to rear has mid-C19 additions attached.
