Cottage. C17 with sympathetic late C20 addition in traditional materials.
Timber framed with brick infill largely replacing wattle and daub, and
coursed rubble south gable; thatched roof; brick integral end stack.
2-cell range aligned north-south with C20 wing to the north aligned east-
west projecting east to form an L-shaped plan. East elevation. One
storey and attic, 2 square panels to eaves with straight braces; 2 windows,
casements, the left hand window is a C20 insertion into a blocked doorway;
the thatch sweeps over the attic dormers. Gabled C20 wing to the right
queen strut roof truss; entrance within left hand return. West elevation.
Most of the middle rails of the framing have been removed to accommodate
large C19 windows. Interior. Chamfered and stopped spine beam; large
open fireplace in the south bay; timber framed partition wall.
