2 houses. Late C18. Watershot hammer-dressed stone with
graduated stone slate roof. Each house is double-depth, 1-
bay wide and has 3 storeys. A 2-storey wing to the rear of
No.8 is of slightly later date. Each house has a square-cut
door surround to right with proud dressings, a 5-light
recessed flat-faced stone mullion window to ground and first
floors. (No. 10 with 2 mullions removed) and a continuous
13-light workshop window at second floor level. 2-light
gable windows. One gable stack. The rear wing is similarly
treated but has later brick chimney stacks.
