South aspect. C14 west tower with stepped diagonal and side buttresses. Small single lights in a vertical row show the presence of an original ladderway rather than a staircase. Quatrefoil light and clock face at second stage. Third stage has Perpendicular Gothic tracery in the bell opening. Crenellated parapet with gargoyles. (Photo Sept 2007).
