C1830 pair of red brick town houses. Three storeys with stucco plinth and window
dressings. Eaves band to low pitch slate roof. Symmetrical elevation with slightly
unusual grouping of fenestration, doorways each end. Two windows on ground floor,
5 on first floor with 3 grouped to centre and 4 windows on second floor: revealed
glazing bar sashes, stucco sills and architrave moulding to heads flanked by acanthus
leaf shallow consoles with thin cornices over. Door of 5 fielded panels with radial
glazed fanlights, in panelled reveals, the doorcases consisting of incised transom
pilasters with Greek key motif to caps supporting open pediments.
