C184O-5O substantial 2 storey 3 bay red brick villa with stucco dressings,
set back behind carriage sweep. Slightly recessed lower service wing to
north side presenting one bay to front. Main elevation has stucco plinth;
plat band and sill course giving effect of applied parapet. Hipped slate roof
with flat eaves and flanking corniced chimneys. Stucco architraves to first
floor sash windows set in trip frames carried below sill course to plat band
with fielded brick apron between; segmental pediments to outer windows and
triangular one to centre. Ground floor windows have plain stucco frames with
entablatures, the cornices breaking forward from plat band. Ionic column
porch with entablature surmounted by parapet with range of small ornamental
portholes. Deep panelled reveals to double leaf 4 panel door, rectangular
fanlight. Ground floor of wing has same type of ground floor window. South
west garden front has 2 two storey canted bay windows.
