GV II

Row of three cottages, now house. Early C17 with mid-C20 alterations and
additions. Timber-framed, rendered infill, brick replacement walling, plain
tiled roof, rebuilt external stack to left side elevation. Originally a
range of three/four framed bays, only two survive; single storey and attic
with dormers. Framing: mainly three square panels from sill to wall-plate;
long straight braces in lower corners of front left bay, truncated collar-
and-tie-beam truss exposed in gable end facing road. Front elevation: ground
floor has two 2-light casements, two gabled dormers with 2-light casements
and at right end roof extended as catslide to form porch above C20 door.
Gable end facing road has a 3-light casement and an attic light. Interior
not inspected. A C20 two-storey extension adjoins the rear gable end to
form an L-plan.
