House. Probably early Cl7 with mid-C20 alterations and additions. Timber-
framed, rendered infill, sandstone rubble plinth, brick replacement walling,
plain tiled roof and paired star-shaped brick ridge stacks. Four framed bays,
including through-passage bay now with inserted stack to form lobby-entry
plan; single storey and attic with dormers. Framing: irregular, two and
three panels from sill to wall-plate, lower panels are narrow and rectangular,
short straight braces in upper corners, collar-and-tie-beam trusses with
queen struts. Front elevation: two cross-casements and a 3-light casement,
all with plank weatherings on ground floor; three gabled dormers with 2-
light casements; C20 gabled brick porch with ledged and battened door.
Interior not inspected. Brick outshut at rear.
