Stableblock and open-fronted
cart store, c10m north of
Uckington Farmhouse

Stableblock and open fronted cart store. Stableblock dated and
initialled 'A.L. 1818' on a diamond-shaped limestone plaque in the
gable end facing the farmhouse. Brick with red tile roof and
single brick stack. 'L'-shaped plan to stableblock with open-
fronted stone on the north forming a 'T'-shaped plan to the whole.
Stable block; single storey with loft. Stable doors and slatted
windows with blind segmental heads to the ground floor. Pitching
windows to the loft. Stone steps up to plank door to loft in the
right gable end. Interior not inspected. The stableblock lies
opposite to the entrance front of the farmhouse and appears to be
as built. Interior not inspected.
