of The Moat House

GV II


Barn. Late C17-mid C18. Square-panelled timber framing with
painted and unpainted brick infill. North gable end partly
weatherboarded. Corrugated iron roof. Rectangular plan with
shelter shed at right angles at the north gable end. Opposing
double doors. Interior; original roof trusses with collar beam
and raking struts, Staggered double purlins. Flagged threshing
floor. South end of barn rebuilt in same style C20 following a
fire.
