SU 74 SE BINSTED BINSTEAD ROAD

House. C16, with C18 cladding, and C19 extension. Stone and tile. House of
medieval origin, as a hall with cross-wings; front (north) of 3 gables, the ends
projecting forward. Walls of squared malmstone with brick dressings. Casements.
Traditional doorway beneath a hood, formed by extending the roof on a bracket.
The rear is similar, but the upper walls of the centre is of brickwork in Monk
bond. Framing exposed within.
