12/9 Old Post Cottage

Cottage, formerly post office. C16 and late C18. Timber-frame with wattle and
daub infill, encased in English bond brickwork, with blue headers. 3 bay timber-
frame building with outshot to rear and attached early C19 April Cottage (q.v.)
at right end. Door in position of screens passage to left of centre bay with C19
plain doorcase, under bracketed pedimented hood. Windows late C18 2-light
casements with cambered heads. Above 3 hipped dormers, with small 2-light
casements either side of 3-light casement.
