II
Cottage. C17 and C18. Timber-frame core, encased in colourwashed brick, roof
thatched. 2 bay cottage with chimney at left end, then when encased in brick bay
added to left and outshot to right. 1½ storey, 3 bay and lean-to C19 top-glazed
door between right and centre bays, and C19 door at right end. C19 2-light
casements with above smaller similar windows in wide eyebrow dormers. Fire
insurance plaque to left of centre. Hipped roof with decorated ridge piece,
and ridge stack between centre and left bay.
